Chanel presented this collection in St. Tropez, te perfect place for a cruise collection to be held. This also served as a time to premiere the short film by Karl Lagerfeld, Remember Now. This collection consisted of many colorful kaftans in many color, prints and very loosly.
"St. Tropez is about freedom - dress code included"-Karl Lagerfeld.
According to WWD:
"The collection's sixties and seventies references were mostly good fun, specially the chemise dresses, all manner of tunics, wide-leg pants and tubular dresses. A series of abundant white cotton looks, each cinched with a sash, were terrific, as were the long sun dresses with tiered skirts. Low heeled sandals and handbags in vichy prints headlined the news in accesories".
