I don’t know if it was only me but the Dolce and Gabbana show was so beautiful in terms of everything from the styling to the runway setting to the background music (Which i’m obsessed with. Neutron Star Collision – Muse). And the clothes, in a collection full of whites. To me it showed the innocence of a sinner. It was beautiful, that’s all i’m going to say. Karl Lagerfeld is a genius at Fendi, doing a magnificent work. My favorite look was the nude/peachy colored dress worn by Magdalena Frachowiak. Gabriele Colangelo who was inspired by Wolfgang Tillman’s work presented a collection that was lighter than lightness. After seeing Tillman’s work, the inspiration was clearly and obviously placated through the collection. Many of the dresses re-created Tillman’s work but in fabric creating a fascinating clash of ombré techniques and fabric placing. A poem painted in fabric creating an explosion of feminism, sexiness and empowerment. << That’s how i describe Francesco Scognamiglio’s proposition for spring. At Dsquared2, Dean and Dan Caten captured perfectly the vibe and essence of a Men Living in a Womans body. Presenting models styled like they were wearing their boyfriends closet. The androgynous tuxedo worn by Sasha Pivovarova was my favorite look.
