“La Lulu Macaroon in Vergara & Vergara Couture.”

31 Vergara & Vergara Couture

This is how Lulu and I say Happy Birthday, to one good friend and designer of Vergara & Vergara, Happy Birthday. Today, she is wearing a look from Vergara & Vergara fall 2011 collection presented during Fashion Week Panama 2011.

“Hot child in the city.”

30 Giambattista Valli resort 2011, vintage pumps, balenciaga bag

New York Fashion Week starts in a few days and as Lulu is, she already flew to NYC. Yesterday, she landed at JFK airport wearing a Giambattista Valli resort 2012 look which we decided to wear sans the jacket. The thing about that look that caught our attention the most was how the flowers look (from a distance) like kiwis. Anyways, we paired the whole outfit with vintage purple stilettos and a Balenciaga motorcycle bag in Barbie pink (hate Barbie ugh, Lulu is so much better). We both are excited for a lot of shows over there, which you can't wait to see?.

“La Lulu at FWP 2011 3rd and last day.”

Imagen (81)
WE (Lulu and I) fell in love with this dress the minute we saw it coming down the runway last season, and what a better stage to showcase it than Fashion Week Panama 2011. Lulu wore this Miu Miu spring 2011 dress to the 3rd and last day of Fashion Week Panama 2011, paired with a Versus box clutch and vintage magenta-bubble gum pumps.

“La Lulu at FWP 2011 2nd Day.”

Imagen (80)

So on the 2nd day of FWP 2011 Lulu Macaroon decided to go a little bit patriotic by wearing 2 colors from the Panamanian flag (hence red, blue and white). And thanks to the mix and match we did with the Michael Kors pre-fall 2011 (top and pants from this look, paired with the trench coat from this look) with an Hermes clutch and vintage magenta pumps. Pictures from the collections presented during the second day of FWP 2011 will be posted next week.

“La Lulu at FWP Day 1”

IMG_4656For day 1 of Fashion Week Panama Lulu Macaroon wore a Marc Jacobs resort 2011 deep-chocolate polka dot dress which we decided to pair with an Hermes leather clutch, Oscar de la Renta earrings and Aperlai raffia embellished sandals. And with this post I’ll start all of the FWP 2011 posts.

“And I’m back”

Imagen (75)

And I’m finally back, exams week is over which means that I’m partly free for now. Just got my dental grinders (sounds corny, I like to call them like that) out, yup, which means that thanks to the surgery half of my face looks like a giant twinkie. As for Lulu Macaroon (who sends all of you, readers, tons of bisous), she was in Paris last week, having fun and shopping. She found this vintage Chanel red quilted bag that completely matched her turn on the Juliette Greco look which consisted on Stella McCartney pre-fall 2011 long sleeved top and skinny pants, vintage Chanel No 5 earrings, Charlotte Olympia platforms and blunt bangs. It feels awesome to be back blogging, now it’s more like a good addiction to me.

“Lulu’s Picks from Milan Fashion Week/Fall 2011”

21 Versace Resort 2011 - vintage pumps

So there you have Lulu wearing a Versace pre-fall 2011 dress which perfectly matched the slightly bohemian vibe she wanted. Lulu right now must be in Barcelona (doing God knows what), probably walking around in designer outfits. While she was in Milan, from fashion show to fashion show, she made her picks and of course I had to request each and every single of the. And all of a sudden I’m sounding a little bit “tired and bored”, but believe me, I really enjoy requesting each and every look Lulu picks. Which look you want her to wear first?.

“The Girl from Ipanema…”

19 Prada Kara Ross earings Charlotte Olympia heels

In the middle of Paris fashion week Lulu couldn’t help but wear her Prada spring 2011 dress and runaway from the fancy front row seats to Brazil (she loves Brazil, i think you already know). Can you believe it?. Excuse: The sun was too beautiful and gloomy to not enjoy it. Let’s hope she doesn’t get tan lines (hate those). I paired this dress, for her, with Charlotte Olympia-Mondrian-printed heels and those Cleopatra-esqe Kara Ross spring 2011 earrings. Below, two of our favorite songs that get us into that sparkly beach-y mood (yup every time we are near a beach we have to listen, at least, to this 2 tracks to get all “sparkly [SPARKLY, new addition to our weird vocabulary])

“Forget Simon says, now it’s Lulu commands…”

Imagen (44)

So now it’s for Lulu (wearing Proenza Schouler pre-fall 2011 and Casadei sandals) to show you her picks for this fall. We’re working on getting this specific 20 looks for her. Lulu is in London now (you know, she’s been busy from front-row to front-row while her stylist, me, stays at home preparing and trying to get these new looks for her, but guess what?. I LOVE IT). Well this are Lulu’s picks.

“Put your hand on your heart and tell me that we’re through…”

17 Moschino Cheap and Chic Judith Leiber Casadei Well, at least Lulu is going out tonight to have dinner with her gals. We decided that she would wear red, but not head-to-toe red and this Moschino Cheap and Chic pre-fall 2011 dress was the perfect choice. Since we saw the lookbook we ordered it (of course Lulu had to talk with Rosella for a long while), which we paired it with Lulu’s favorite Judith Leiber heart shaped clutch and red Casadei pointy toe heels. And if you’re asking yourself about the title of this post, it’s Kylie Minogue’s Hand on Your Heart song. It’s amazing how everything from the 80’s now looks corny and tacky but fun and happy.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY.
